Waiting…’s first year was a celebration of telling the stories of artists in New York City’s food and beverage industry through the lens of print media. We cherished each edition launch, and will die on the hill that there are few better things than holding a beautiful magazine and flipping through pages of sentiment and satire surrounding our artist server world. This year, we’re changing up our approach to growing our audience in order to build a stronger, more connected community of creatives who know what it’s like to hustle to make their dreams a reality in this hectic city. We’ve digitized all our articles from the three editions we’ve published, and are on the hunt for working creatives in New York to share their stories, perspectives and passions with our online platform.

Elliott Rosenberg, our operations lead and head designer is the man behind the scenes making sure we have the space and structure to put forth our best work. Whether it’s working tirelessly on the layout for an article and focusing on every minute detail to achieve a clean and sharp design, or creating systems for our whole team to excel and do their best work, Elliott gives Waiting… the ability to consistently shine.

Where’s your favorite spot to work on Waiting… or your own art?

I like working at my desk with the second monitor, or on the couch. Especially these days with the Olympics on

What’s your first memory of your contribution to Waiting...?
I didn’t start doing graphic design work until I made my frisbee team’s jersey design sophomore year of high school

What NYC monument would you be? The local elementary school, on election day
