I really loved when we got to do the supplemental artist photoshoot in the LES. It was just so cool getting to see everyone connect and all the artists together laughing in between shots. And the time we all spent afterwards just getting to know one another was so special!

The team read was also so much fun. I loved getting to read all the pieces Adele wrote and everyone’s ideas on what to build on was so exciting, especially for the bread piece. People just kept shooting out ideas and everyone else was building on them, making them even better. And I think the end results we got from that were so great!

As complicated as read through was in the end it was also one of my favorite times to come together and get to see everything for the first time.

I loved drafting bread man faces with Elliott for the bread piece.

I really liked the supplemental artist shoot. I thought getting coffee at the end with everyone wrapped things up really well. The shoot was so stressful, but by the end I was just like, “Life is beautiful.”

I loved Tristen’s shoot. I loved getting to be in the kitchen shooting food and people cooking, that’s where I am happiest.

Shooting Trà My was also so much fun, she is so much fun and it was great to shoot in Le Phin, because that was one of my go to spots when I first moved into the city.

I liked when Adele announced, for the first time, the list of artists that we would be featuring in the edition.

I loved when we finished editing the last piece of the edition in Kellogg’s diner and celebrated with chocolate milkshakes.

I loved the cover shoot – it was the first time that we had booked out a studio to do a shoot, and while I love the scrappiness of shooting out in the wild, it was a fun experience to really be able to control an environment.

Getting to sit in AVGUST’s home studio and having him show me how he built his album from the ground up was so much fun. I had no idea how producing, mixing, and creating a succinct album works, and AVGUST took me through nearly every step. It was amazing.
