Spend the evening meeting featured artists from our first few editions, and eat and drink as you get to know your potential new bandmates, studio connections and actors for your film. The connection possibilities are endless . . . All you have to do is show up.

Check out Edition 2 artist Kate Alboreo’s work at Nine, a new curatorial partnership and art space in Manhattan’s Chinatown / Two Bridges area. Kate’s work contributes to Dead Skin, an exhibition celebrating Halloween and all things spooky.

KA: “[the opening reception] was like a little Halloween party, a lot of us dressed up in costumes. I was of course in a homemade wrestling costume.”

The show runs until November 15th in the basement of 9 Monroe Street. If for nothing else, visiting Dead Skin to count all 15 of Alfie’s (painted below) legs is a must, and you might just find another artist with work that spooks you senseless (in a good, artistic kind of way).
